About

Welcome to my blog and thank you for visiting.

This blog is as much a resource for me as I hope it will be for others.

I am hoping to fill it with wonderful, practical tips and tricks than can be quickly and effectively applied in business and life.

I run a small clothing e-commerce store and will be posting about my efforts to improve that business under the heading Antifragile Ecommerce. I am also making this available as an email newsletter on Substack.

As the name implies, I'll be sharing low-risk but potentially high reward strategies that I am testing with my own store.

I'll also be posting about my own general self-improvement efforts.

These may relate to health, diet, decision-making or anything else I find useful and interesting.

I love exploring different decision making approaches, and one group of decision makers that fascinates me more than almost any others are traders, although I do not wish to count myself among them.

I think principles and heuristics employed by successful traders have far-reaching applications outside financial markets so I'll be exploring these in my Like A Trader series.

Like my idol, Nassim Nicholas Taleb, I am restricting topics to things I am so enthusiastic about that I can write effortlessly and pleasurably about them and that I know well enough (or think I do) that I don't even have to look up any references.

There is an aspect of the Feynman technique to this, where I am looking for weaknesses in my knowledge through writing about things. I welcome constructive comments and criticisms.
